This newsletter is for week ending 27Sep09 Transfer Windows ---------------- The transfer window is now open this week until 5pm on Thursday. There is a spreadsheet available from the website Contents menu, under General->Transfer XLS, from which you can make your transfers, validate them and save them as a text file which can then be emailed to me. Remember to download the spreadsheet, don't try and use it direct from explorer as it won't work. If at all possible, please use this spreadsheet and send the text file it creates back to me to submit your transfers, as it not only ensures there are no mistakes, it also speeds up the transfer process at my end significantly. Dates of all transfer windows can be found here: http://www.baesystemscharitychallenge.com/fantasyfootball/MOMList.htm This Weeks Stats ---------------- Results included this week are:- 26-Sep-09 Prem: Birmingham 1-2 Bolton 26-Sep-09 Prem: Blackburn 2-1 Aston Villa 26-Sep-09 Prem: Portsmouth 0-1 Everton 26-Sep-09 Prem: Fulham 0-1 Arsenal 26-Sep-09 Prem: Liverpool 6-1 Hull City 26-Sep-09 Prem: Stoke City 0-2 Man Utd 26-Sep-09 Prem: Tottenham 5-0 Burnley 26-Sep-09 Prem: Wigan 3-1 Chelsea 27-Sep-09 Prem: Sunderland 5-2 Wolves Goals/Assists were identified for each match as follows:- 26-Sep-09 Prem: Birmingham 1-2 Bolton -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PHILLIPS Kevin (84) (BENITEZ Christian) COHEN Tamir (10) (RICKETTS Sam/DAVIES Kevin) LEE Chung-Yong (86) (TAYLOR Matt) 26-Sep-09 Prem: Blackburn 2-1 Aston Villa -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SAMBA Christopher (24) (NELSEN Ryan) DUNN David (89) AGBONLAHOR Gabriel (3) (MILNER James/FRIEDEL Brad) 26-Sep-09 Prem: Portsmouth 0-1 Everton -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SAHA Louis (42) (HEITINGA Johnny) 26-Sep-09 Prem: Fulham 0-1 Arsenal -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- VAN PERSIE Robin (52) (FABREGAS Cesc) 26-Sep-09 Prem: Liverpool 6-1 Hull City -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TORRES Fernando (12) (RIERA Albert) TORRES Fernando (28) (BENAYOUN Yossi) TORRES Fernando (47) (BENAYOUN Yossi) GERRARD Stephen (61) (INSUA Emiliano) BABEL Ryan (88) (KUYT Dirk) BABEL Ryan (89) (RIERA Albert) GEOVANNI (15) 26-Sep-09 Prem: Stoke City 0-2 Man Utd -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BERBATOV Dimitar (62) (GIGGS Ryan) O'SHEA John (77) (GIGGS Ryan) 26-Sep-09 Prem: Tottenham 5-0 Burnley -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KEANE Robbie (18) (DEFOE Jermain) JENAS Jermaine (33) KEANE Robbie (74) (LENNON Aaron) KEANE Robbie (77) (HUDDLESTONE Tom) KEANE Robbie (87) (CROUCH Peter) 26-Sep-09 Prem: Wigan 3-1 Chelsea -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BRAMBLE Titus (16) (N'ZOGBIA Charles) RODALLEGA Hugo (53) SCHARNER Paul (90) (FIGUEROA Maynor) DROGBA Didier (47) (MALOUDA Florent) 27-Sep-09 Prem: Sunderland 5-2 Wolves -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BENT Darren (9) JONES Kenwyne (48) (BENT Darren) JONES Kenwyne (70) (BENT Darren) TURNER Michael (73) (REID Andy) Own Goal (90) (BENT Darren) Own Goal (50) (BERRA Christopher) DOYLE Kevin (55) The following new players were added to the database this week:- DINDANE Arunda (Ports) - STR £6.4m COOPER Liam (Hull) - CB £2.1m The manager with the most points missed this week was Colin Fisher who missed out on 13 points. Emails ------ Whenever you do team changes, or pay money, you should ALWAYS get a confirmation email from me from alan.gooch1@ntlworld.com. I process many changes at once, consequently I send many emails into BAESYSTEMS accounts in a short space of time. Occasionally, BAESYSTEMS decide these are spam and temporarily block emails from NTLWORLD, so it may well be that this is the reason you do not get a confirmation email from me. However, as the emails just get binned, I don't get notified when this occurs. Website Updates --------------- The CC-FF website at http://www.baesystemscharitychallenge.com/fantasyfootball/ has been updated with this week's points. If you have made team changes since the weekend they will not appear online until next week (why should your fellow managers know what you're doing?) Each week, I update an online spreadsheet which can be useful for those that wish to print off some of the stats. This can be found at http://www.baesystemscharitychallenge.com/fantasyfootball/CC-FF-WeeklySheet-0809.xls, which is also under the General menu on the website.
