This newsletter is for week ending 07Mar10 Transfer Windows ---------------- The transfer window has now closed. Check here (http://www.baesystemscharitychallenge.com/fantasyfootball/MOMList.htm) for any future windows. Thanks to everyone who made transfers, it all adds to the charity donation AND the prize fund. Thanks especially to those that used the spreadsheet provided. Not only are all transfers verified before you send them in, but each transfer has to be entered into the database individually unless the spreadsheet is used. Managers with outstanding transfer fees have already been contacted. Prompt payment would be appreciated. Note: the next transfer window will not be open to those behind on payments. When the transfer window is open, there will be a spreadsheet available from which you can make your transfers, validate them and save them as a text file which can then be emailed to me. Note: this spreadsheet will not be up-to-date until the window opens again. If at all possible, please use this spreadsheet and send the text file it creates back to me to submit your transfers, as it not only ensures there are no mistakes, it also speeds up the transfer process at my end significantly. To all those that made transfers, please endeavour to pay any fees ASAP. Please contact me if in any doubt how to pay. Every week that fees remain outstanding, I have to email and pester people, like I haven't already got enough to do :-) This Weeks Stats ---------------- Results included this week are:- 06-Mar-10 Prem: Arsenal 3-1 Burnley 06-Mar-10 Prem: West Ham 1-2 Bolton 06-Mar-10 F.A Cup: Portsmouth 2-0 Birmingham 06-Mar-10 F.A Cup: Fulham 0-0 Tottenham 06-Mar-10 Prem: Wolves 0-1 Man Utd 07-Mar-10 Prem: Everton 5-1 Hull City 07-Mar-10 F.A Cup: Fulham 0-0 Tottenham 07-Mar-10 F.A Cup: Chelsea 2-0 Stoke City 07-Mar-10 F.A Cup: Reading 2-4 Aston Villa Goals/Assists were identified for each match as follows:- 06-Mar-10 Prem: Arsenal 3-1 Burnley -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FABREGAS Cesc (34) (NASRI Samir) WALCOTT Theo (60) (BENDTNER Nicklas) ARSHAVIN Andrei (89) (DA SILVA Eduardo) NUGENT David (50) (CORT Leon) 06-Mar-10 Prem: West Ham 1-2 Bolton -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DIAMANTI Alessandro (88) DAVIES Kevin (10) (LEE Chung-Yong) WILSHERE Jack (16) (COHEN Tamir) 06-Mar-10 F.A Cup: Portsmouth 2-0 Birmingham -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PIQUIONNE Frederic (67) PIQUIONNE Frederic (70) (O'HARA Jamie) 06-Mar-10 F.A Cup: Fulham 0-0 Tottenham -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 06-Mar-10 Prem: Wolves 0-1 Man Utd -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SCHOLES Paul (73) 07-Mar-10 Prem: Everton 5-1 Hull City -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ARTETA Mikel (17) (YAKUBU) ARTETA Mikel (39) (PIENAAR Steven) Own Goal (51) (ARTETA Mikel) DONOVAN Landon (82) (BAINES Leighton) RODWELL Jack (86) (DONOVAN Landon) CAIRNEY Tom (32) 07-Mar-10 F.A Cup: Fulham 0-0 Tottenham -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 07-Mar-10 F.A Cup: Chelsea 2-0 Stoke City -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LAMPARD Frank (35) (TERRY John) TERRY John (67) (LAMPARD Frank) 07-Mar-10 F.A Cup: Reading 2-4 Aston Villa -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- YOUNG Ashley (47) (CUELLAR Carlos) CAREW John (51) (DOWNING Stewart) CAREW John (57) (WARNOCK Stephen) CAREW John (89) There were no new players added to the database this week This week saw the end of a transfer window. Emails ------ Whenever you do team changes, or pay money, you should ALWAYS get a confirmation email from me from alan.gooch1@ntlworld.com. I process many changes at once, consequently I send many emails into BAESYSTEMS accounts in a short space of time. Occasionally, BAESYSTEMS decide these are spam and temporarily block emails from NTLWORLD, so it may well be that this is the reason you do not get a confirmation email from me. However, as the emails just get binned, I don't get notified when this occurs. Website Updates --------------- The CC-FF website at http://www.baesystemscharitychallenge.com/fantasyfootball/ has been updated with this week's points. If you have made team changes since the weekend they will not appear online until next week (why should your fellow managers know what you're doing?) Each week, I update an online spreadsheet which can be useful for those that wish to print off some of the stats. This can be found at http://www.baesystemscharitychallenge.com/fantasyfootball/CC-FF-WeeklySheet-0809.xls, which is also under the General menu on the website.
