This newsletter is for week ending 07Feb10 Transfer Windows ---------------- The transfer window has now closed. Check here (http://www.baesystemscharitychallenge.com/fantasyfootball/MOMList.htm) for any future windows. Thanks to everyone who made transfers, it all adds to the charity donation AND the prize fund. Thanks especially to those that used the spreadsheet provided. Not only are all transfers verified before you send them in, but each transfer has to be entered into the database individually unless the spreadsheet is used. Managers with outstanding transfer fees have already been contacted. Prompt payment would be appreciated. Note: the next transfer window will not be open to those behind on payments. When the transfer window is open, there will be a spreadsheet available from which you can make your transfers, validate them and save them as a text file which can then be emailed to me. Note: this spreadsheet will not be up-to-date until the window opens again. If at all possible, please use this spreadsheet and send the text file it creates back to me to submit your transfers, as it not only ensures there are no mistakes, it also speeds up the transfer process at my end significantly. To all those that made transfers, please endeavour to pay any fees ASAP. Please contact me if in any doubt how to pay. Every week that fees remain outstanding, I have to email and pester people, like I haven't already got enough to do :-) This Weeks Stats ---------------- Results included this week are:- 01-Feb-10 Prem: Sunderland 0-0 Stoke City 02-Feb-10 Prem: Hull City 1-1 Chelsea 02-Feb-10 F.A Cup: Crystal P 3-1 Wolves 02-Feb-10 F.A Cup: Wigan 0-2 Notts Cty 03-Feb-10 Prem: Fulham 1-0 Portsmouth 03-Feb-10 F.A Cup: Leeds 1-3 Tottenham 06-Feb-10 Prem: Liverpool 1-0 Everton 06-Feb-10 Prem: Bolton 0-0 Fulham 06-Feb-10 Prem: Burnley 2-1 West Ham 06-Feb-10 Prem: Hull City 2-1 Man City 06-Feb-10 Prem: Man Utd 5-0 Portsmouth 06-Feb-10 Prem: Stoke City 3-0 Blackburn 06-Feb-10 Prem: Sunderland 1-1 Wigan 06-Feb-10 Prem: Tottenham 0-0 Aston Villa 07-Feb-10 Prem: Birmingham 2-1 Wolves 07-Feb-10 Prem: Chelsea 2-0 Arsenal Goals/Assists were identified for each match as follows:- 01-Feb-10 Prem: Sunderland 0-0 Stoke City -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 02-Feb-10 Prem: Hull City 1-1 Chelsea -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MOUYOKOLO Steven (30) (HUNT Stephen) DROGBA Didier (43) 02-Feb-10 F.A Cup: Crystal P 3-1 Wolves -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HENRY Karl (89) (FOLEY Kevin) 02-Feb-10 F.A Cup: Wigan 0-2 Notts Cty -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 03-Feb-10 Prem: Fulham 1-0 Portsmouth -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GREENING Jonathan (74) 03-Feb-10 F.A Cup: Leeds 1-3 Tottenham -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DEFOE Jermain (37) (BENTLEY David) DEFOE Jermain (73) (BENTLEY David) DEFOE Jermain (90) (BALE Gareth) 06-Feb-10 Prem: Liverpool 1-0 Everton -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KUYT Dirk (55) (GERRARD Stephen) 06-Feb-10 Prem: Bolton 0-0 Fulham -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 06-Feb-10 Prem: Burnley 2-1 West Ham -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NUGENT David (14) (FOX Danny) FOX Danny (55) ILAN (81) (MIDO) 06-Feb-10 Prem: Hull City 2-1 Man City -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ALTIDORE Jozy (31) (VENNEGOOR Jan) BOATENG George (54) ADEBAYOR Emmanuel (59) (TOURE Kolo) 06-Feb-10 Prem: Man Utd 5-0 Portsmouth -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ROONEY Wayne (40) (FLETCHER Darren) Own Goal (45) (NANI) Own Goal (59) (CARRICK Michael) BERBATOV Dimitar (62) (ROONEY Wayne) Own Goal (69) (EVRA Patrice / NANI) 06-Feb-10 Prem: Stoke City 3-0 Blackburn -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HIGGINBOTHAM Danny (8) SIDIBE Mamady (45) (ETHERINGTON Matthew) ETHERINGTON Matthew (67) (LAWRENCE Liam) 06-Feb-10 Prem: Sunderland 1-1 Wigan -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- JONES Kenwyne (64) (HENDERSON Jordan) DIAME Mohamed (20) 06-Feb-10 Prem: Tottenham 0-0 Aston Villa -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 07-Feb-10 Prem: Birmingham 2-1 Wolves -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PHILLIPS Kevin (80) (GARDNER Craig) PHILLIPS Kevin (85) (CARR Stephen) DOYLE Kevin (42) 07-Feb-10 Prem: Chelsea 2-0 Arsenal -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DROGBA Didier (8) (TERRY John) DROGBA Didier (23) (LAMPARD Frank) The following new players were added to the database this week:- OKAKA Stefano (Ful) - STR £6.3m FOX Danny (Burn) - FB £2.2m ILAN (WHU) - STR £6.5m MIDO (WHU) - STR £6.4m JOHNSON Adam (ManC) - MID £4.5m VIEIRA Patrick (ManC) - MID £4.3m ROCHA Ricardo (Ports) - CB £2.2m MOSES Victor (Wigan) - STR £6.4m MORENO Marcelo (Wigan) - STR £6.3m This week saw the end of a transfer window. Emails ------ Whenever you do team changes, or pay money, you should ALWAYS get a confirmation email from me from alan.gooch1@ntlworld.com. I process many changes at once, consequently I send many emails into BAESYSTEMS accounts in a short space of time. Occasionally, BAESYSTEMS decide these are spam and temporarily block emails from NTLWORLD, so it may well be that this is the reason you do not get a confirmation email from me. However, as the emails just get binned, I don't get notified when this occurs. Website Updates --------------- The CC-FF website at http://www.baesystemscharitychallenge.com/fantasyfootball/ has been updated with this week's points. If you have made team changes since the weekend they will not appear online until next week (why should your fellow managers know what you're doing?) Each week, I update an online spreadsheet which can be useful for those that wish to print off some of the stats. This can be found at http://www.baesystemscharitychallenge.com/fantasyfootball/CC-FF-WeeklySheet-0809.xls, which is also under the General menu on the website.
