This newsletter is for week ending 06Dec09 Transfer Windows ---------------- The transfer window has now closed. Check here (http://www.baesystemscharitychallenge.com/fantasyfootball/MOMList.htm) for any future windows. Thanks to everyone who made transfers, it all adds to the charity donation AND the prize fund. Thanks especially to those that used the spreadsheet provided. Not only are all transfers verified before you send them in, but each transfer has to be entered into the database individually unless the spreadsheet is used. Managers with outstanding transfer fees have already been contacted. Prompt payment would be appreciated. Note: the next transfer window will not be open to those behind on payments. When the transfer window is open, there will be a spreadsheet available from which you can make your transfers, validate them and save them as a text file which can then be emailed to me. Note: this spreadsheet will not be up-to-date until the window opens again. If at all possible, please use this spreadsheet and send the text file it creates back to me to submit your transfers, as it not only ensures there are no mistakes, it also speeds up the transfer process at my end significantly. To all those that made transfers, please endeavour to pay any fees ASAP. Please contact me if in any doubt how to pay. Every week that fees remain outstanding, I have to email and pester people, like I haven't already got enough to do :-) This Weeks Stats ---------------- Results included this week are:- 05-Dec-09 Prem: Portsmouth 2-0 Burnley 05-Dec-09 Prem: Arsenal 2-0 Stoke City 05-Dec-09 Prem: Aston Villa 3-0 Hull City 05-Dec-09 Prem: Blackburn 0-0 Liverpool 05-Dec-09 Prem: Man City 2-1 Chelsea 05-Dec-09 Prem: West Ham 0-4 Man Utd 05-Dec-09 Prem: Wigan 2-3 Birmingham 05-Dec-09 Prem: Wolves 2-1 Bolton 06-Dec-09 Prem: Fulham 1-0 Sunderland 06-Dec-09 Prem: Everton 2-2 Tottenham Goals/Assists were identified for each match as follows:- 05-Dec-09 Prem: Portsmouth 2-0 Burnley -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HREIDARSSON Hermann (65) (KANU) DINDANE Arunda (84) (O'HARA Jamie) 05-Dec-09 Prem: Arsenal 2-0 Stoke City -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ARSHAVIN Andrei (26) (FABREGAS Cesc) RAMSEY Aaron (79) 05-Dec-09 Prem: Aston Villa 3-0 Hull City -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DUNNE Richard (13) (MILNER James) MILNER James (29) (AGBONLAHOR Gabriel) CAREW John (89) (YOUNG Ashley) 05-Dec-09 Prem: Blackburn 0-0 Liverpool -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 05-Dec-09 Prem: Man City 2-1 Chelsea -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ADEBAYOR Emmanuel (37) (RICHARDS Micah) TEVEZ Carlos (55) Own Goal (8) (ANELKA Nicolas) 05-Dec-09 Prem: West Ham 0-4 Man Utd -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SCHOLES Paul (45) GIBSON Darron (61) (GIGGS Ryan) VALENCIA Luis (71) (ANDERSON) ROONEY Wayne (72) (VALENCIA Luis) 05-Dec-09 Prem: Wigan 2-3 Birmingham -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- N'ZOGBIA Charles (33) (SCOTLAND Jason) GOMEZ Jordi (89) LARSSON Sebastian (61) BENITEZ Christian (66) (BOWYER Lee) LARSSON Sebastian (72) 05-Dec-09 Prem: Wolves 2-1 Bolton -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CRADDOCK Jody (3) (BERRA Christopher, MILIJAS Nenad) MILIJAS Nenad (63) (DOYLE Kevin) ELMANDER Johan (79) (COHEN Tamir, KLASNIC Ivan) 06-Dec-09 Prem: Fulham 1-0 Sunderland -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ZAMORA Bobby (7) (PANTSIL John) 06-Dec-09 Prem: Everton 2-2 Tottenham -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SAHA Louis (78) (COLEMAN Seamus) CAHILL Tim (86) (BAINES Leighton) DEFOE Jermain (47) (LENNON Aaron) DAWSON Michael (59) (KRANJCAR Niko) The following new players were added to the database this week:- KURUCZ Peter (WHU) - GK £2.1m This week saw the end of a transfer window. Check here to see the latest results:- http://www.baesystemscharitychallenge.com/fantasyfootball/CupFixResStage1.htm and here to see the latest group tables:- http://www.baesystemscharitychallenge.com/fantasyfootball/CupGroupTablesStage1.htm The first group stage of the CC-FF Cup has now been completed. The draw for the second group stage can be found here: http://www.baesystemscharitychallenge.com/fantasyfootball/CupFixResStage2.htm Emails ------ Whenever you do team changes, or pay money, you should ALWAYS get a confirmation email from me from alan.gooch1@ntlworld.com. I process many changes at once, consequently I send many emails into BAESYSTEMS accounts in a short space of time. Occasionally, BAESYSTEMS decide these are spam and temporarily block emails from NTLWORLD, so it may well be that this is the reason you do not get a confirmation email from me. However, as the emails just get binned, I don't get notified when this occurs. Website Updates --------------- The CC-FF website at http://www.baesystemscharitychallenge.com/fantasyfootball/ has been updated with this week's points. If you have made team changes since the weekend they will not appear online until next week (why should your fellow managers know what you're doing?) Each week, I update an online spreadsheet which can be useful for those that wish to print off some of the stats. This can be found at http://www.baesystemscharitychallenge.com/fantasyfootball/CC-FF-WeeklySheet-0809.xls, which is also under the General menu on the website.
